Membership | Home Care & Hospice Providers

Practical support for your agency, every week.

HCHANJ membership keeps your whole organization ahead of regulatory change, payer shifts, and operational challenges—so you can stay focused on delivering high-quality, home-based care in New Jersey.

As a member, your agency gains year-round access to weekly update calls, expert guidance, advocacy, education, and a network of peers who understand the realities of home care and hospice. Membership is organization-wide, so leaders and staff across departments can plug in where it helps them most. Together, we work to protect and strengthen home-based care across our state.

Benefits

Stay ahead of regulations and payer changes

Weekly member update calls, regulatory workgroups, and timely alerts help your agency anticipate and respond to new requirements—instead of scrambling after the fact.

Tap into home care and hospice experts

Gain access to leading consultants and subject-matter experts who understand New Jersey’s landscape, and get practical advice you can apply immediately in your operations.

Strengthen your voice with policymakers

Through action committees, focused workgroups, and the Home Care Caucus, members help shape our advocacy agenda and inform the positions we take with state and federal decision-makers.

Support your whole team—not just one contact

Membership is agency-based, so clinical leaders, compliance, finance, HR, and operations staff can all participate in calls, committees, and trainings and receive member communications.

Weekly Member Update Call (Tuesdays at 10:00 AM)

Each week, members are invited to a live update call led by regulatory and operational experts. We walk through the federal and state changes that impact your agency, and what you actually need to do about them.

  • Practical breakdowns of new rules, guidance, and payer updates
  • Live Q&A so you can ask how changes affect your agency
  • Recordings and slide decks shared with registrants when available
Stay Informed Between Calls

Outside of the weekly call, you’ll continue to get timely information, training opportunities, and reminders so nothing falls through the cracks.

  • Weekly member newsletter summarizing key regulatory, advocacy, and operational updates
  • Invitations to free member trainings and events throughout the year
  • Discounted access to our Annual Conference and other paid programs
  • Ongoing access to leading consultants in home health and hospice care
Committees & Working Groups

As a member, your organization can nominate staff to serve on our committees and working groups. These groups help shape our advocacy agenda, respond to regulatory changes, and surface real-world issues from providers across the state.

  • Advocacy Committee (NEW)
Open to all members and partners to discuss major policy, reimbursement, and access issues in home-based care and shape our advocacy agenda.
  • Regulatory Workgroup Meeting
Provider forum focused on simplifying and modernizing New Jersey’s regulatory environment, including licensure, RN supervision, DOH/DCA issues, and telehealth.
  • Hospice & Palliative Care Committee
Focused on hospice and palliative care issues, education, and tools—keeping members informed and helping shape solutions that support providers and families.
  • Billing Managers Committee
Specialty group for billing professionals to troubleshoot billing and collections issues, share best practices, and shape education that supports providers.
  • Human Resources Committee
Focused on matters that affect recruitment and retention and/or regulatory HR requirements and finds ways to support members in these efforts.
Peer Support & Problem-Solving

Membership connects you with leaders facing the same pressures you are—from staffing and survey readiness to reimbursement and quality.

  • Members-only email community/listserv to share questions and solutions
  • Connections to NJ peers who understand your operating environment
Membership Includes Your Entire Organization

Provider membership is agency-based, not individual-based. Once your agency joins, any staff member you authorize can access member benefits.

  • Unlimited participation from administrators, clinical leaders, quality and compliance staff, HR, finance, and others
  • Multiple staff can attend the weekly calls, join committees, and receive the newsletter
  • Staff can be added or removed from member email lists at any time
  • Ability to designate key contacts (e.g., compliance lead, HR lead) for targeted updates

Ready to Join?

If you’re ready to invest in your organization’s future and plug into a statewide network of support, we’d love to talk.

  • Review Provider Member Dues (2026-2027)
