Part-Time Volunteer/Bereavement Coordinator – Homeside Hospice, a nurse owned and operated hospice, is looking for a highly motivated, dependable, independent candidate for a Part-Time Volunteer/Bereavement Coordinator.   Responsible for the coordination and supervision of all volunteer activities, ongoing development and expansion of volunteer services.  Educates volunteers on policy and procedures within agency guidelines.  Provides volunteers for office support and direct care needs.  Offers ongoing continuing support and education for volunteers.  Recruits, screens and selects prospective volunteers.  Coordinates and supervises all volunteer activities on a daily basis.  Responsible for coordinating essential bereavement services and tasks, including: Insures the provision of the appropriate level of bereavement care needed by caregivers of deceased hospice patients; Monitors, reviews and coordinates bereavement outreach efforts, such as mailings and phone calls, to deceased patients’ caregivers.  Works with administrative office staff to ensure that bereavement cards are accurate, signed and mailed within accepted time limits.  Experience in health service and skill in administrative functions preferred.  Homeside Hospice offers medical and dental insurance for 30 hours a week or more, and PTO benefits for part-time employees.  Competitive pay, PTO/vacation, in-house continuing education, flexible shifts and schedules, supporting and caring management team.  Located in Clark, NJ.  Contact Jennifer at [email protected] – 732-381-3444.  [120222]
