 Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice seeks Clinical Director.  Provides overall planning, direction, supervision, and oversight of the Hospice Program. Ensures all Nursing staff and management maintain an adequate level of competency regarding Nursing skills and Hospice programs and services.  Assures quality care by reviewing and assessing each service. Responsible for the clinical performance of nursing in all areas to facilitate effective, efficient patient care. Oversees the required committees of the organization. Ensures the organization remains in compliance with all licensure requirements. Responsible to the Chief Operating Officer for daily management of the Organization and for the effective and efficient use of resources in carrying out the organization’s purposes.  Evaluates systems and processes to make Technological recommendations/implementations. Maintain medical records. Compliance with licensing regulations. Timely appeals. Sets and monitors benchmarks. Budgeting and expenses. Oversees Policy and procedure development, standardization, and implementation. Performance Management and progressive discipline. Coordinates patient services. Reviews plans of care. Ensure IDT meetings are compliant. Reviewing clinical notes. Periodic patient evaluations. Determining staffing patterns/recruitment.  Compliance with recertification and Face to Face requirements. Participates in and coordinates Hospice Professional Advisory Committee meetings and subcommittee meetings.  Participates in outreach activities with physician offices, referral sources and facilities to secure consistent referral streams. Supervise/evaluate work activities of clinical personnel. Training and Experience: Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in Medicare-certified Hospice and/or Home Care, and 5 years Supervisory experience.  Graduate of an NLN accredited school of nursing.  MSN required.  Current RN licensure in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.  Primarily Newton, NJ with some travel to Fredon, NJ. Director of Clinical Development Opportunity Description

The Home Care and Hospice Association of New Jersey is looking for a Director of Education to join their team. This position is preferably based in Cranford, NJ, however, a NJ based remote candidate may be considered. An RN with an education or training background in Medicare Home Health is a must. Knowledge of New Jersey Home Health and Medicaid rules and regulations is strongly preferred.

Director of Clinical Development Job Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Medicare Home Health and NJ State rules and regulations.
